I was a little skeptical but I thought I'd try mushroom coffee for the first time and honestly, I'm impressed. I'd been struggling a bit with coffee crashes in the afternoons but I pretty much didn't feel like I got one with these - I think it's because comparibly per serving, you get less caffeine because it's mixed with the mushroom and other stuff.
I tried this both in a cafetiere which was my favourite, and also tried it once in my espresso machine which was also but I think it needs to be ground up finer for that (I don't have my own grinder).
I bought both this one and the dark roast and the only downside for me personally is that I am normally an "intense/strong" roast drinker so I preferred the dark roast version. If you love strong/bold coffee, I'd recommend going for the dark one instead. If you usually just get the house blend from your local cafe, I'm pretty sure you'll like this one.
Once I finish the normal beans I have, I'm going to switch to purely drinking this one and seeing if the crashes disappear, but so far so good!
